Wakefield Eastern Relief Road shortlisted for RTPI Award 2017

We are pleased to announce that Spawforths in collaboration with Wakefield Council has been shortlisted for the 2017 RTPI Yorkshire Award for Planning Excellence.

Following a record number of entries in the region, David Rolinson, Spawforths “we're delighted that, Wakefield Eastern Relief Road has been recognised as an innovative partnership in unlocking the infrastructure deficit on a strategic scale, and the acceleration of residential and employment development within Wakefield.”

Following two years of construction the Wakefield Eastern Relief Road opened in April 2017.

Winners will be announced at the RTPI Awards ceremony on 14 September 2017. Wish us luck… we have our fingers crossed!
