Spawforths Secures Permission in Salford
Spawforths have successfully secured outline planning permission on behalf of Network Space for up to 200,000 ft² of new employment space on the former Ashtons Field Colliery, a development site close to the M61, in Salford. The application was unanimously approved by Salford City Council planning committee on the 2 February 2017.
Spawforths demonstrated that the development will provide a flexible and market-facing planning permission, allowing Network Space to react as appropriate to changes in market demand.
This proposal represents an important scheme which will bring forward new jobs and investment and outlines the commitment of our client to deliver new employment floorspace.
Network Space now intend to work with the HCA and other partners with the intention to remediate the site and, carry out enabling works to create development ready platforms to facilitate the first phase of employment development on the site.
