Secretary of State allows “test case” Leeds housing appeal in light of Spawforths evidence
On 8th June 2016, the Secretary of State allowed an appeal by Millers Homes for 104 dwellings at Boston Spa in Leeds. Spawforths have advised Millers on their planning strategy and David Rolinson, Chairman of Spawforths, gave expert evidence at the Public Inquiry.
This is the “test case” for Leeds housing policies and housing supply and the Secretary of State’s endorsement of our position now opens the way for other similar appeals that are currently being considered. This should bring to an end an ongoing saga around housing delivery in Leeds and allow our Client, Miller Homes, to deliver much needed housing in Boston Spa.
