Planning Permission for 400 dwellings on the Former Firbeck Colliery Site
Spawforths, on behalf of Network Space, have secured planning permission for 400 dwellings on the former Firbeck Colliery site at Carlton-in-Lindrick, Worksop. The application was approved by Bassetlaw Council planning committee on the 13 September 2017.
Spawforths have worked collaboratively with Network Space and the Council over a number of years to bring forward this key brownfield regeneration site.
This proposal will bring forward the redevelopment of this vacant, brownfield site and represents a significant opportunity to assist in meeting Bassetlaw’s housing requirement and to deliver significant economic, environmental and social benefits.
The next stage of the project will be for Network Space to remediate the site and carry out enabling works to create development ready platforms to facilitate the first phase of development on the site.
Should you wish to discuss any issues arising from this planning permission, please contact Hannah Richardson.
