Path cleared for Six56 Warrington
The Six56 Industrial Scheme (3.1m sqft) in Warrington gained outline consent in March 2022. Due to the scale of the application it was automatically referred to central government to review. However the Secretary of State, Michael Gove has determined that a public inquiry into the development is not required.
The decision gives the green light to 4,000 new jobs and will unlock £7.1m/annum in new rates income for Warrington Council.
Spawforths led the planning application and environmental assessment for this scheme. We have made a very special circumstances justification for the development which has now been supported by both Warrington and Cheshire East Councils.
