Greater Manchester Spatial Framework Success for Carrington
The Draft Greater Manchester Spatial Framework has supported Spawforths' proposal for 11,500 houses and 750,000m2 of employment space at Carrington. Carrington forms part of the Western Gateway Strategic Location of the Spatial Framework which will deliver around 1,400,000m2 of employment space, and over 20,000 houses.
Spawforths are lead planning consultants working for the HIMOR Group to bring forward these significant regeneration proposals for Carrington, Partington and Sale West, three of Trafford's most deprived communities. This is one of the largest brownfield sites in the North West and it is the largest housing proposal in the whole Greater Manchester Plan. We look forward to moving this exciting and large scale scheme forward.
