Spawforths launch a new team: Spatial Environment Research Team (SERT)!

Bringing together Spawforths’ existing expertise into a single team, covering:

Spatial – Spawforths provide spatial and strategic advice, catering for all your needs through the local plan process. This includes Strategic Engagement, producing Spatial Strategy Statements, Call for Sites responses, Local Plan Representations, EiP Hearing Statements and working closely with Spawforths’ Masterplanning Team to produce Visions and Delivery Frameworks. We can also undertake Site Finding.

Environment – All things EIA, from general advice, to screening and scoping requests to coordinating Environmental Statements. We also undertake Socio Economic and Human Health Assessments for EIA and non-EIA projects. We have held ISEP’s (Institute of Sustainability & Environmental Professionals, formerly IEMA) EIA Quality Mark for the last 14 years.

Research – Research and analysis to support Site Promotion through the Local Plan Process, Planning Applications, Environmental Assessments, Appeals and much more. We undertake all forms of assessment, including Green Belt, Grey Belt, Housing (such as five year land supply and housing analysis), Employment Supply and Needs, Socio Economic, Sequential and Open Space Assessments.
