Newark & Sherwood Scoping Consultation

Newark and Sherwood District Council has launched an early scoping consultation on its new Local Plan 2045, which will help shape the future growth and development of the district. The Local Plan will establish the planning framework for future decisions, setting out the key issues it should address, the matters it should cover, and how planning policies will support the districtโ€™s future needs.

Residents, businesses, landowners, developers and other interested parties are encouraged to share their views on the scope and content of the new Local Plan, as well as how they would like to be involved throughout the future stages of the plan-making process.
