Thornesgate Wakefield
This is the second project Spawforths undertook for Bridge Homes and includes both Contemporary and Traditional homes alongside a Senior living scheme for 12 units delivering 96 homes in total.
This project won highly commended at the LABC awards in 2015.

The Brief
Following the successful completion of the first ever Bridge Homes project at St. Swithins, Wakefield, where Spawforths developed the first range of house types for the new housing company, we were reappointed to further develop the Bridge Homes brand on a larger, more prominent site. We worked with the client to develop a range of contemporary housetypes which has helped shape development and the strategy for delivering houses in the Wakefield area.
