Rotherham Call for Sites

Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council has launched a new Call for Sites as part of the preparation of its emerging Local Plan, which will replace the current plan (2013–2028) and help guide growth and development across the borough into the 2040s.

Landowners, developers, businesses, community groups, residents and other interested parties are encouraged to submit sites for consideration across a broad range of potential land uses, including housing, employment, retail and leisure, community infrastructure, environmental enhancements and renewable energy.

The Call for Sites is an important early-stage evidence gathering exercise that will help inform the emerging Local Plan and identify land that may be available for future development opportunities.
