As part of our ongoing Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSER) commitments, we are delighted to announce that Spawforths has joined the West Yorkshire Fair Work Charter.

The Charter brings together employers across the region to promote and improve fair working practices. It recognises the positive work organisations already do. It also connects businesses with like-minded partners who share the ambition to create a better and fairer world of work.

Fair work rests on five key pillars: opportunity, security, wellbeing, employee voice and fulfilment. By signing up to the Charter, we reaffirm our commitment to good pay and fair treatment. We also strengthen our focus on flexible working, wellbeing, diversity and social mobility in the workplace.

We firmly believe that fair work benefits everyone. It improves productivity, boosts morale and encourages innovation. It also supports strong, sustainable growth and helps us attract and retain great people.

The West Yorkshire Combined Authority developed the Charter in partnership with employers, trade unions, business leaders and the voluntary sector. Organisations of all sizes and sectors can take part.
