Regeneration Projects
In areas where there is low developer interest, low market demand or significant underlying social, economic and infrastructure issues, a different form of masterplan is required. In these locations, key priorities are often changing perceptions, energising communities, building consensus and attracting investors and funding.
In an economic environment where grant assistance is often limited, our regeneration masterplans need to combine aspiration with the practicalities of deliverability. Phasing of infrastructure and site remediation and preparation are often the key to implementation of these complex schemes and this can mean extensive consultation and engagement with local communities to ensure they understand the challenges and timescales associated with these types of scheme. Our urbanists have over two decades of experience masterplanning these types of development working with a diverse range of stakeholders in often challenging situations.
