Delivery Frameworks
Although Delivery Frameworks can often be prepared in conjunction with a Delivery Strategy or even as part of the same document, in reality they have a distinct and separate role to play.
Normally associated with large and/or complex sites, the role of the framework is to provide design teams and subsequent developers with a practical guide to how a site is to be delivered. A typical Delivery Framework will include specifics about the delivery of infrastructure, funding and phasing as well as, where appropriate, arrangements for partnership working and the application and determination of the necessary statutory consents. Viability, cash flow, returns on capital, target profit levels, gap funding requirements and procurement issues may also be addressed making a robust Delivery Framework a useful and practical tool to secure investor interest or public sector funding support.
