As Chairman of Spawforths David's main responsibilities include guiding the strategic direction of the Company and leading many of our largest and most complex schemes.

David is a Chartered Town planner and also has a qualification in planning and environmental law. David has 34 years’ experience in the development industry and regularly provides professional advice to a wide range of Developers, Housebuilders, Landowners and Commercial Clients. David provides strategic advice on all aspects of planning and development and regularly gives evidence at major Public Inquiries and Examinations in Public. David regularly promotes industrial, logistics, residential and other commercial schemes through emerging Local Plans as well as through the Development Management system. David is highly experienced in leading large scale multi-disciplinary consultant’s teams and is a recognised expert in Environmental Assessment matters.
