Spawforths, on behalf of Network Space, have prepared and submitted a hybrid scheme to Knowsley Council, comprising a full planning application for 101,150 sq ft of B1(b) (c), B2, B8 employment space across three new industrial units, and an outline planning application for up to 176,000 sq ft of new employment space on their existing Alchemy Way Industrial Park near Kirkby. Heathlands at City Fields - Application for 334 New Houses
Spawforths, on behalf of Stretton Estates (Wakefield) Ltd, have prepared and submitted a full planning application for 334 dwellings on the former Wakefield B Power Station site at Doncaster Road, Wakefield, now known as “Heathlands at City Fields”. Determination of this application by the Council is expected by the end of 2016. Read more
Spawforths put Regional New Towns on the Map
Spawforths have been commissioned to prepare masterplans for two potential garden villages in the region, one with up to four thousand homes, the other for as many as ten thousand new homes. Each will be discrete settlements with their own community facilities and services. Both garden villages will make a significant contribution to providing new homes, to meet local needs, as well as delivering jobs and new sustainable transport infrastructure. Adrian Spawforth, the Managing Director said ”Garden Villages provide opportunity for strategic planning, minimising the impact of new development on existing communities and creating a platform for innovative new buildings and delivery methods.
