Spawforths' Coronavirus Update
Coronavirus Update - 17 March 2020
As the COVID-19 situation continues to escalate, we thought it would be helpful to reassure our clients and colleagues that we are taking every step possible to maintain our business continuity and quality of service.
Over the last few weeks we have been closely following the developments of the emerging pandemic whilst quietly implementing changes in our systems to ensure we can continue to provide a responsive and quality service.
Our goals throughout this period have been to:-
- minimise the health risks to our staff, clients, colleagues and their family
- follow all government guidelines and directives
- continue to trade as normally and consistently as possible
We have previously taken the decision to restrict travel and use digital means of communication for all external meetings where practical.
In addition to this we are now also significantly reducing the number of staff in our offices at any one time. The remaining staff will be working from home using our remote access system (Barracuda SSL VPN) and their business mobiles. This should ensure that we have a central hub to run operations from going forward and that staff can access our facilities as and when they need them.
We have a suite of mobile electronic communication devices to facilitate both internal and external meetings and are regular users of systems such as GoToMeeting, Basecamp, Skype, and video and audio conferencing.
Going forward, we will continue to monitor the situation closely and adapt as appropriate. We are incredibly proud of our staff and their commitment to working with us and our clients in these challenging times. Our company values of integrity, determination, proactively, creativity and pragmatism will hopefully hold us in good stead!
If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact us.
