Planning consent has been granted for a high quality bespoke private dwelling in North Yorkshire. The site is situated within the designated Wolds Area of High Landscape Value and as such, great attention had to be given to minimise the impact of the development on the area.
Spawforths were able to successfully demonstrate that the proposals contributed to the protection and enhancement of distinctive elements of landscape character that are the result of historical and cultural influences and natural features. This was achieved through a substantial and rigorous process of design development using in-house BIM / 3D modelling capabilities and supported by a Landscape Visual Impact Assessment. The result is a beautiful response to a great site and we look forward to working on the next stages.
