Employment phase at City Fields, Wakefield unanimously Approved

Spawforths have successfully secured the approval for the employment phase at City Fields, Wakefield on behalf of Keyland Developments Limited. The proposals include the development of 500,000ft² employment uses and ancillary pub/diner uses. The development is part of the City Fields masterplan, which is one of the biggest regeneration initiatives ever seen in the city.
 
Spawforths demonstrated that the mix of uses on site reflected the current market trend for commercial developments which will deliver a market facing development opportunity.

Keyland’s strategic site forms the primary employment element of the 375 acre City Fields development which is being unlocked by the new £33m Wakefield East Relief Road. Work on the road commenced in 2015 with completion anticipated in March 2017.
