Blackpool Central

Spawforths were appointed as architects and planning consultants on behalf of Nikal and Media Invest Entertainment to lead the design team to evolve a comprehensive masterplan for the whole site and to secure planning permission for the redevelopment of the Blackpool Central site to create an indoor all year-round theme park and entertainment centre, which will help attract new visitors to Blackpool and will create a hotel demand.

We secured a hybrid planning permission which included detailed permission for the Heritage Quarter buildings as well as coordinating the discharge of planning conditions, non-material amendment submissions in order to aid delivery of development on site.
